About
vciso.ch is an independent publication about cybersecurity and the people who run it: CISO leadership, security architecture, infrastructure, enterprise architecture and open-source technology. Articles favour first-hand experience and technical detail over news and vendor talk.
The author
Security leader and engineer. I write about running security programmes, building infrastructure that lasts, and the technology underneath both.
Opinions are my own and do not represent any employer or client. Nothing here is legal, regulatory or professional advice for your specific situation.
This site
The site is a set of static pages built with Astro from Markdown files in a public Git repository, and served by Cloudflare. There is no tracking and no advertising. Search runs entirely in your browser, and comments load only when you ask for them. The privacy page has the details.
You may notice the absence of a black background and green monospace text. Security writing does not need to look like a film hacker’s terminal to be taken seriously, so this site opens in daylight. (For late-night reading there is a dark theme in the sidebar, no hoodie required.)
Body text is set in Literata and code in Iosevka, both under the SIL Open Font License.
